Dewey's Leg

Here's Dewey the day he got home from the vet. Surprisingly they didn't put a cast on him - just some pins in his bones to hold them together. Ouch! He's doing very well, and is already walking (and running) on his leg.

Dewey's Personal Trainer Wendy

To help Dewey get better faster, we've decided to hire Wendy, his own personal trainer.

One of our neighbors suggested that we get a urine sample from Wendy before agreeing to hire her, but I think that's nonsense.

Great News About Dewey!

You'll be happy to know that Dewey is doing very well after his surgery! He got home a couple of days ago and has been taking it easy since then. He can sit down, stand up, and walk around on his own (with a fair amount of limping). He doesn't have a cast because the vet put pins in his leg to hold the bone together. He's also on a lot of medicine for the pain right now, and it has him acting a little calmer than his usual self.

Mr. Dewey and the Tail of the Broken Leg

This is Mr. Dewey. He likes to play. He likes to play frisbee. He jumps when he catches the frisbee. Mr. Dewey jumped one time too many this weekend. Mr. Dewey broke his leg. Mr. Jon and Miss Julie were very sad. Luckily Dewey has loving parents, and he got his leg all fixed up today at the vet. Mr. Dewey is going to be just fine.
