A House!

Well, we put an offer down on a house today and it was accepted!  Yahoo!  We're very excited about it, especially because the last time we were ready to put an offer down we were already too late.  Not this time though.  Go have a look at the pictures of our new place:  http://picasaweb.google.com/jon.chase/OurHouse

Fun Day Touring RTP

Julie and I had a great afternoon touring around the Research Triangle area with our friends Jeff and Christen, who Julie met while at OU and who also live down here now.  They took us out to eat and showed us all kinds of cool places that we can't wait to go back and visit again.  Julie was very excited about one mall in particular because, as she put it, "I hardly recognized any of those stores!  They're all new to me!"

So far we are enjoying our time down here, as you can tell!:)

Living in Chapel Hill

Just a quick update.  We're now living in Chapel Hill in some campus housing (2 bedroom apartment) that UNC has provided for us while we continue to look for a house to buy.  We actually found a house we liked, but someone else wound up getting it before we had a chance!  Bummer:(.  But we're moving on - we've already found some others that look interesting, so we still hope to find something very, very soon.  Please keep your fingers crossed for us! 

We're getting ready to go and meet some of Julie's friends that live in the area - I think they're going to give us  a tour of the surrounding areas.
