What's going on lately
Lots of stuff has been happening lately. Julie's been doing lots of interviews at different schools across the nation - we are waiting to find out where she will wind up with a job - which will determine where we wind up living once married! How exciting that we can just pick up and move once we're married - I think this is a very exciting time in our lives.
Speaking of moving, I've had to find a new job b/c of our move. "But if you don't know where you're moving, how can you find a new job, Jon?" Since so many people have asked me that question, I may as well answer it here once and for all. I have the extreme fortune to be able to return to DARS @ Miami University and continue my work there (DARS is where I was working until May of 2005). Once we move, I am going to be able to telecommute (work from home) from wherever it is we end up living. How exciting is that?! I think it's going to be great - I really loved the work I was doing at DARS before I left, the people were great, and it was just a great place to work. Of course I'll miss Software Architects (the company I'm leaving to go back to DARS), but that's always the case when you're leaving a good job. I can't wait until the first DARS-B-Q of the season!:)
Like I said above - Julie's been very busy lately. She just finished her comprehensive exams this past Friday (thank goodness!) and I know she did a great job. She is wrapping up school - just a few more weeks to go, and she's going to have her masters degree! I am worried that if she gets her Ph. D. that people will start addressing us as Mr. and Dr. Julie Chase!! :) Just kidding - I think it would be great it she got her Ph. D. - then she could support us both:).
Did anyone notice that Spring is finally here (at least in Ohio)? It felt so wonderful to be able to walk outside with a t-shirt on this past weekend! Hopefully with Julie and I spending more time outside, there will be more pictures to post onto the site for you all to enjoy. But since I don't have any brand new pictures, here are some older pictures that I hope you like.

Until next time,
Jon
