Valentine's Day

What a fun day! Julie and I celebrated an early Valentine's Day today and we had a great time. We started out with breakfast (pancakes and cheesy scrambled eggs) to get us moving. Then we went to church at Crossroads in Cincinnati and met up with our friends Matt and Dave. After church, Julie and I (we ditched Matt and Dave - it's our Valentine's Day, after all) went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. All I can say about that is WOW! I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory before, so I didn't know what I was missing. Julie got a "lunch sized" salad that was literally enough to feed a family of 5. For a week. Their portions are huge! I got an awesome BBQ pork sandwich and fries...and we finished the meal up with a piece of Black-Out Cake. It...was...awesome! We were sooo stuffed afterwards that we decided we had better do some mall walking to burn off some of the calories. Julie went to the Apple store to buy accessories for her new iPod nano that she got for Valentine's Day - I think she likes it;). We did do some mall walking, but resisted the temptation to stop in some stores and do some wedding registry work - I'm proud of us for that - we kept the day very leisurely. After all that fun, we headed back to Oxford and Julie worked on submitting job applications and I worked on watching the Simpsons. It was a great Vday!
